The Avocado is a Shield electronic board which, inserted on electronic boards such as Odroid C1+ and Raspberry PI 3/4, allows you to extend their potential.

It is a board based on the ATmega2560 microcontroller for Raspberry Pi 3/4, it allows you to have an Arduino Mega 2560 interfaced with Raspberry via serial; All the Shields that are installed on Arduino can be installed on this Shield.

It is possible to update the firmware on the ATmega2560 from the Raspberry Pi.

If the Raspberry Pi is installed remotely, having installed Open VPN on the board, it is upgradeable and controllable remotely.

All inputs and outputs available on the Arduino Mega 2560 are also available on this board.
